Animated Staff (Pentagramma Animato) is an innovative app that combines fun and learning in musical practice. It was born from the need to play and learn classical or contemporary music interactively, starting from a simple MIDI file.

The application transforms the MIDI file into notes displayed on the staff, allowing you to play them in real-time with a connected MIDI keyboard. To facilitate learning, it offers the ability to listen to a preview of the piece and to adjust the scrolling speed of the notes, thus adapting it to your own level.

Furthermore, the app records the percentage of correctly played notes, providing useful feedback to monitor your progress and improve.

Currently in its alpha phase, Animated Staff has some limitations, but it already represents a significant step towards more dynamic and engaging music learning.

The future development of Animated Staff presents an exciting challenge in the field of music education. This innovative method isn't just about entertainment; it aims to bring users of all ages, from the youngest to the oldest, closer to the world of music.

In the demo video, you can observe how the software faithfully reproduces the notes of a piece, allowing for effective practice thanks to the (adjustable) scrolling speed of the staff. However, one of the most significant future developments will be the integration of a complete score visualization. This will allow complex pieces to be performed with greater precision, overcoming the current approach centered on individual scrolling notes. Such an approach promises to profoundly innovate music teaching, making it more accessible and engaging for everyone.

Unfortunately, at the moment, our limited resources significantly hinder the development of these ideas. To fully realize our vision for music learning, we need your support.

With a small donation, you can make a tangible contribution to the growth of this initiative. In return, you will receive access to the current version of the application (which is already a lot of fun!) and the links to use it. Furthermore, you will be updated monthly on future progress via our blog.

We don't want to limit ourselves to offering a scaled-down product. Without adequate funding, we might be forced to release a version with a limited number of songs (e.g., 20-30 classical pieces), putting it on the market in this form. This, however, would greatly limit the real potential of the project.

Our real goal is to allow anyone to upload their own MIDI files, to play and learn the music they prefer. The application is optimized for the most common browsers (like Chrome, Edge, etc.) and works correctly on both smartphones and tablets.

Help us realize this potential! By investing in us today, you can contribute to the development of a unique product tomorrow.

If you've read this far, we hope you'll consider supporting our project. Sharing this initiative on your social networks is also a great help! If you are unable to donate, we sincerely thank you anyway for your time.
